ऐश्वर्या राय बच्चन और अभिषेक बच्चन की शादी को आज 13 साल हो गए हैं. 2007 में दोनों ने शादी की थी और तब से दिन प्रतिदिन इनका रिश्ता मजबूत रहा है. कहा जाता है कि ऐश और अभी के शादी के फंक्शन्स तीन दिन तक चलें. यह शादी उत्तर भारतीय, बंगाली और तुलु रीति-रिवाजों के साथ संपन्न हुई. 

ऐश्वर्या को प्रपोज करने पर एक इंटरव्यू में अभिषेक ने कहा, 'मैं न्यू यॉर्क में फिल्म की शूटिंग कर रहा था, होटल की बालकनी में खड़े होकर मैं सोच रहा था कितना अच्छा होगा अगर मैं उसके साथ खड़ा रहूं. साल भर बाद हम वहां 'गुरु' के प्रीमियर के लिए गए.  प्रीमियर के बाद हम होटल गए. मैं उसे उसी बालकनी में लेकर गया और शादी के लिए प्रपोज किया.

2007: A wedding beyond a fairy-tale! We are immensely thankful to Abhishek and Aishwarya for sharing these never before seen images from their Sangeet. मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो ऐश और अभी की शादी का कार्ड तीन बॉक्स में था. एक बॉक्स में इनवाइट कार्ड था, दूसरे में मिठाई के 24 पीस और तीसरे में भगवान गणेश की मूर्ति थी, जिसके साथ हरिवंश राय बच्चन की लिखी हुई एक कविता भी थी.शादी में फैशन डिजाइनर अबू जानी और संदीप खोसला ने ही बच्चन परिवार के लिए कपड़े डिजाइन किए थे. आज इंडस्ट्री में उन्हें 34 साल हो गए हैं.
