एक्टर समीर शर्मा ने मुंबई के मलाड स्थित अपने घर पर फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली है. समीर शर्मा (44) को बुधवार रात को मलाड पश्चिम में अहिंसा मार्ग स्थित नेहा सीएचएस बिल्डिंग में अपने घर पर फांसी पर लटका हुआ पाया गया था. समीर का शव किचन में पंखे से लटक रहा था. सुसाइड नोट पुलिस को नहीं मिला है. पूरे घर का सर्च ऑपरेशन किया जा रहा है. पुलिस इस केस में फाइनेंसियल एंगल को भी खंगाल रही है. पुलिस सूत्रों के अनुसार, शव की हालत देखकर ऐसा लग रहा है कि समीर का निधन 2 दिन पहले हो चुका है. उनके पास से कोई सुसाइड नोट बरामद नहीं हुआ है। पुलिस ने फ़िलहाल एक्सीडेंटल डेथ की रिपोर्ट दर्ज़ की है.  समीर के निधन पर सिद्धार्थ मल्होत्रा, वरुण धवन समेत कई सेलेब्स ने दुख जताया है.

बता दें कि, समीर टीवी शो 'कहानी घर घर की', 'क्योंकि सास भी कभी बहू थी', 'वो रहने वाली महलों की', 'गीत हुई सबसे पराई', 'फॉर', 'ज्योती', 'इस प्यार को क्या नाम दू' जैसे हिट शोज में काम कर चुके है. हाल ही में समीर को स्टार प्लस के शो 'ये रिश्ते है प्यार के ' में देखा जा रहा था. समीर की डेब्यू फिल्म हंसी तो फंसी थी. वे मूवी इत्तेफाक में भी नजर आए थे. समीर ने कई एड्स और मॉडलिंग असाइनमेंट में काम किया था. वे दिल्ली के रहने वाले थे. पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद वे बैंगलोर शिफ्ट हो गए थे. उन्होंने वहां एड एजेंसी में काम किया था. फिर वे मुंबई में एक्टिंग का सपना लेकर आए और वो सपना पूरा भी हुआ था.
