रविवार को उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले के जोशीमठ में एक ग्लेशियर के फटने से क्षेत्र में धौली गंगा नदी में बड़े पैमाने पर बाढ़ आ गई. हिमालय के ग्लेशियर टूटने और बांध में दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होने के बाद लगभग 150 लोगों के मरने की आशंका थी. ऐसे में इस दुख की घड़ी में कई बॉलीवुड हस्तियों ने त्रासदी से प्रभावित लोगों के साथ अपनी एकजुटता व्यक्त की है. सोनू सूद और दीया मिर्जा से लेकर श्रद्धा कपूर और प्रसून जोशी तक, हस्तियों ने पीड़ितों के लिए प्रार्थना करने के लिए सोशल मीडिया का सहारा लिया है.

सोनू ने ट्वीट कर लिखा है, "उत्तराखंड हम आपके साथ हैं."

जबकि श्रद्धा कपूर ने ट्वीट कर लिखा है, "#Uttarakhand में ग्लेशियर टूटने के बारे में सुनना परेशान करने वाला है, सभी की सुरक्षा की प्रार्थना."
