शनिवार की आधी रात पूरे देश की निगाहें न्यूज़ चैनलों पर थी. जब सब लैंडर विक्रम के चंद्रमा की सतह पर लैंड होने का इंतजार कर रहे थे. चंद्रमा की सतह से महज दो किलोमीटर पहले लैंडर विक्रम से इसरो का संपर्क टूट गया. इस मिशन के सफल न होने पर देश को जितना दुःख हुआ उससे ज्यादा इसरो के वैज्ञानिकों हुआ.
इसरो के चेयरमैन के. सिवन की आंखे भर आई. प्रधानमंत्री ने उन्हें सांत्वना दिया. इसके साथ ही बॉलीवुड सेलेब्स ने भी इसरो साइंटिस्ट्स की हौसला अफजाई की.
